My Mission: To hand-make, beautiful & bespoke bridal gowns with a unique & timeless aesthetic for the Classic Modern Bride.

Made to Measure – Bride’s can order gowns and have them Made to Measure by Jennifer in her Greenslopes studio, perfect for the bride who can’t find gowns to fit her figure well.  A Nonrefundable deposit of 40% is required to secure your booking.

Standard Size – All standard size orders are to be paid for in full at the time of ordering.  Standard Size Orders do not include any alterations or fittings this is the responsibility of the client to organise once the garment is completed.  Nor will there be any allocated times to try on the gown once completed.  You are welcome to collect your gown from Jennifer in person (which will be presented in a white garment bag) or it can be shipped directly to your address for an additional postage and handling fee.

PLEASE NOTE: Any substantial changes to my designs where different or additional fabrics are required OR where patterns are altered to reflect a new design direction a $200 fee will be require in addition to the extra labor and fabric costs needed to complete these changes.


Off the Rack and Samples – These gowns are Shop Samples and therefore may have small stains or slight damage from being tried on multiple times or from being part of a Styled Shoot. These gowns are made to Sample Sizes and will need alterations.

The discounts on these gowns reflect this and as such there are no refunds offered.

All of Jennifer Gifford Designs gowns are handmade individually by Jennifer and therefore we are unable to offer any refunds or accept any returns. Once payment is received your order is considered final.

Every care is taken in order to create a gown of the highest quality and finish, Jennifer takes immense pride and care in the construction of each gown knowing that a very special person is waiting to wear it on the most important day of her life to date.

SHIPPING

All Jennifer Gifford Designs gowns are handmade by Jennifer in Brisbane Australia.   Gown orders are processed straight away and production turnaround is between 16 to 20 weeks. Please allow extra time for Shipping, within Australia allow 2-3 business days and all international orders should allow between 10 days and 1 month.


RUSH ORDERS

Rush orders are available on some designs please contact Jennifer directly to discuss your options jennifergifforddesigns@hotmail.com. There are no refunds or changes available on Rush Orders.

We use Registered Express Post with tracking within Australia. A signature is required and must be delivered to a physical address.  We recommend using your work address if no one will be at your residence during the day.

All international orders are International Express Post, which includes Tracking and a Signature on delivery.  Most parcels arrive within 10 days.

Taxes and import duties are charged in some countries and are not the responsibility of Jennifer Gifford Designs.  Please do your own research on these charges, as the customer you are responsible for these payments.  You can get all the information you require by contacting your local customs office.

Jennifer Gifford Designs is not responsible for any late deliveries or any lost or damaged parcels.


RETURNS

All Jennifer Gifford Designs gowns are handmade individually to order by Jennifer and therefore we are unable to offer any refunds or accept any returns*.  All sales are final where a customer has supplied specific measurements and colour requirements.  This applies to online orders, Made to Order, Made to Measure and Custom designs. Once payment is received your order is considered final.

No refunds will be given due to cancelled or postponed weddings.

All standard size orders are to be paid for in full at the time of ordering.

Jennifer Gifford Designs accepts payment by Credit Card, PayPal, Stripe and Direct Deposit.

Please note: there may still be some alterations required once received.

*Exchanges and refunds will be given where goods are faulty, wrongly described or don’t do what they are supposed to.

SIZING

Please refer to our sizing chart below for the Australian Standard Sizes.   All gowns will require some alterations to get the perfect fit, we recommend finding a good seamstress to help you with any changes.  JGD gowns are created so they can be easily tailored to fit you perfectly.

If you are between two sizes please order the larger size as it is much easier to take something in rather than letting something out.  Always allow a couple of weeks for alterations and have them done as close to the wedding as possible.  All gowns are made with a skirt length of 115cm from natural waist to floor.  If you require extra length, please contact Jennifer via the Message Board.

 

AUSTRALIAN STANDARD WOMAN’S REGULAR SIZES

Please be aware that all colours can vary depending on dye lots and can appear different in photographs depending on light. All care is taken to properly describe each colour accurately, if in doubt please contact us directly for more information. Swatches are available through the shop. All images on this website belong to Jennifer Gifford Designs and cannot be used without express permission.
