An Alpine Elopement 2018

HOORAY_Kelly-Tunney_Lake-Crackenback_061.jpg

There’s an inherent calmness in being surrounded by nature, tranquil waters and fresh alpine air…

Inspired by the snow-capped mountains and pastel-hues of the surrounding bushland, Hooray Magazine dreamt up a ceremony unfolding by the serene water of the lake. A bride and her groom meet at the waterside, ready to exchange vows against a backdrop adorned with foraged gum leaves and florals in soft pinks and deep reds.

Bare Romance 2018

Sometimes, less really is more.  A shoot by Hooray Magazine.

In an industry overrun with the excessive, extravagant and fussy, it’s refreshing to strip it all back …and when the unnecessary is eliminated, a raw, real beauty is revealed.

Inspired by a minimalistic aesthetic, we called upon fashion photographer Tina Nikolovski to capture it with us.

Together, we captured simplicity reinvented in clean, modern designs; ideal for those drawn to gowns that balance tradition with a new breed of boldness.

Sculptural silhouettes, billowing fabrics and intricate lace collide in perfect harmony; bound by their soft feminity and careful restraint.

It’s romance, simplified.

Femininity 2017

”Modern Minimalist Bridal Inspiration with Feminine Style

”Modern Minimalist Bridal Inspiration with Feminine Style

My vision for this shoot was to inspire, ignite passion, channel one's femininity and create beauty in simplicity. To do this, I envisaged a modern bride with an elegant and romantic aesthetic and an eye for detail brought to life through hand dyed silks, beautifully feminine and vibrant blooms, curated tableware and couture gown. I chose a not so traditionally feminine palette of terracotta, peach and cream to set the stage for our shoot. The movement is fluid and romantic and we drew focus to the bride's stunning features, particularly her eyes, lips and hands to give a slight twist to the traditional bridal portraits. It was all about her gorgeous features shining through giving it a delicate air of femininity."  Sandra Chau - Wedding Designer

Through the Fields 2016

HILLVIEW-EDITORIAL-BYRONLOVESFAWN-121.jpg

Created for White Magazine

Byron Loves Fawn captured this beautiful plantation style setting full of neutral tones and metallic hints. It imbues a wild yet tame vibe, with elegant styling juxtaposed by the rugged backdrop. The bride is draped in a gorgeous Jennifer Gifford Designs gown, while the groom dons a dapper Wil Valor suit. All the elements are thoughtfully combined to create a scene that suggests a soft, refined setting.

Romantic Antiquity 2015

Featured in White Magazine Issue 28

Imagine declaring your undying love beneath an arch of vines, standing in a sea of candles. Marsala and brass educe rich, grounded elegance and an earthiness of spirit. A ribbon embroidered tulle gown and brass headpiece intertwine as a throwback to antiquity. Full blooms in deep colours emanate a feeling of romance.
